Dear Phil Patron,

Like all arts organizations, the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir’s 2019-2020 season has been dramatically impacted by COVID-19.

As a patron of the Phil, you know we have had to cancel our 2 spring concerts: Beethoven’s Mass in C (March 22) and Hector Berlioz’s Messe Solennelle (April 24).

Subscribers and single ticket purchasers are entitled to a refund but, as a valued member of the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir community, we are asking that you consider converting your single ticket or the remainder of your subscription to a tax-deductible donation to sustain us during this difficult time.

The health and economic impact of COVID-19 to the Phil is significant and your gift today is more important than ever. As a non-profit arts organization, the Phil relies on the people we serve in our community. Please consider the role music plays in your life and support the Phil with a donation of any amount today or return your tickets to cancelled concerts for a charitable tax receipt.

Please be in touch with us at to let us know your wishes.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Phil. We have been heartened by the many kind emails and well-wishes we have received these past few days. We will be back presenting beautiful music for the people of Manitoba as soon as we can. Until then, from our Phil family to yours, please be well. And let’s all wash our hands!
