Poinsettia Plant Sale – Fall (yearly November/December)
ORDER DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8th.
Once again, poinsettias from Vanderveen’s will brighten your holiday season. These beautiful plants are great gifts for your loved ones, clients, and staff. Both small (6-inch pots) and large (10-inch pots) are available for purchase. We continue to offer the popular red, white, and pink plants or larger red, white or tri-colour!
Order deadline is Friday, November 8 and plants will be ready for pickup midday Saturday, November 30 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church (corner of Nassau and Stradbrook) between 11:00 and 1:00. Or, for a nominal fee, they will be delivered to your recipients within Winnipeg city limits. Anyone wishing to order poinsettias can also email poinsettiasforthephil@gmail.com.
All proceeds help ensure that the Phil can continue to bring high-calibre choral music live to Winnipeg.

Plant Sale – Spring (yearly)
We partner yearly with Glenlea Greenhouses for our Spring Plant Sale. Glenlea Greenhouses offers top-quality plants at competitive prices, with fundraising selections including annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs. For the balcony or window box gardener, they offer beautiful hanging baskets and mixed containers, or you can create your own from a gorgeous selection of container plants. Opulent pots of fall chrysanthemums can be ordered at the same time for delivery after Labour Day. If you are interested in plants that aren’t among the fundraising options, consider ordering plant cards; these can be used to shop in person at the retail location just south of Winnipeg or at the Glenlea booth at local farmers’ markets (see Glenlea website).
Please share the link (www.glenleagreenhouses.com) with friends, family, neighbours and colleagues. Depending on how much we sell, The Phil can expect to receive 20-25% (before tax) of the value of all plant sales and 15% ($3.75 each) on gift cards. The plants are always of terrific quality, and you’ll be supporting a local, family-run business as well as the Phil.
Thanks for your support!
The Annual Plant Sale for 2024 is now closed. Details for the Annual Plant Sale will be posted when it opens in Spring 2025.
Support the Phil while you shop at Red River Co-op!
From 25 September until 22 October, we are selling Co-op grocery cards.
Here's how it works:
Cards are available in amounts of $25, $50 and $100 and can be used for grocery and pharmacy shopping but not fuel purchases at any Red River Co-op food store (in Winnipeg, Selkirk, Lorette, Stonewall, Gimli and Niverville). This means you can support the choir with your regular grocery shopping trips!
You buy Red River Co-op Gift cards for face value and you get face value. Each card automatically includes a 10% donation to the Phil from Red River Co-op
Shop at Red River Co-op Food Store locations as you normally would for grocery and pharmacy needs, and pay with your fundraising gift card
It's that easy! You can order in any multiple of $25, and Co-op will add up the cards to equal your chosen amount. Cards will be available a couple of weeks after the deadline.
Thanks for your support!
